5 to 7 April
It is a full immersion in the magical world of the “luminarie”, typical festivals decorations of Salento which, become real works of lighting and furnishing accessories.
12 to 14 April
Activities include working with three clays, learning about Salento's red clay, creating symbolic pinecone-shaped products, and using plaster casts for decorative painting on terracotta. Materials are non-toxic and water-based.
19-21 April
The workshop program consists of three meetings focusing on the slow and conscious exploration of "terracotta" and ceramics to promote natural well-being and balance of body and mind.
10 to 12 May
The almost forgotten story of Salento's daily life involves the summer harvest of bulrush by collectors called "Sciuncari." After selection and boiling, the rush dries in the sun, forming a connection with nature through ancient weaving traditions.
17 to 19 May
A two-day workshop involves making recycled paper sheets with natural elements on day one and crafting a memory book using colored recycled paper, seeds, stones, and old photographs on day two. The outcome is a cherished treasure chest of memories and emotions.
24 to 26 May
In a peaceful setting, experience three days of sculpting Lecce stone. Discover its softness, fossil charm, and clayey veins, transforming an inert block into a living creation using saws, hammers, chisels, rasps, and sandpaper.
Out of time and space to become aware that it is the “here and now” that counts.
